The slices are super big, but the recent purchase had smaller slices. It was not the loaf specifically labeled sandwich style. Now I wonder if they no longer make those super sized slices. Anyway, the bread is tasty and healthy. I have eaten this bread for decades, but only during the periods of time when I can afford it. It is expensive, but superior choice for vitamins and minerals...imo.

Whole.grain bread for picky people.

Arnold's products are always high in quality, so I am not surprised that this bread is good, but it is REALLY good! I have not always been a fan of whole grain breads. I grew up in the 50's eating Wonder Bread. Our parents were absolutely sure that it was more nutritious than other bread, even though it was as white and squishy as the others. 😂 In my so-called golden years, I have been trying to actually eat healthier. The point is that I have tried about 50 kinds of whole grain bread, and this one is truly delicious, and that is high praise indeed, coming from a white-bread girl. 😁

The particular store that delivers my groceries needs to check expiration dates. I end up having to freeze the bread to make it last longer than a week. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE WALMART, THEIR DELIVERY PEOPLE, THE SERVICE REPS. VERY SINCERE, THEY GIVE THEIR ALL. IF THERES AN UNEXPECTED ISSUE THEY COMPENSATE " IMMEDUATELY", AND LET YOU KNOWCYOU'RE A VALUED CUSTOMER. I have the same issue with milk , I need more than a weeks time to use it re: expiration dates.
