customer service sucks and the sizing is terrible

I ordered a pair for my daughter for her concert. They are super thin and the quality is horrible. I ordered a 12, she normally wears a 10/12, they were way too small for her. They also were apparently picked up by a carrier, after a week that had not changed. I reached out to the seller where I got the run around with no questions being answered. I am almost certain it's automated because none of the responses made sense.
