ALMOST exactly like the Autolite 2100 it replaced.

I just installed this on a '69 F250 w / 360 and a C6 a couple of days ago. Still dialing it in a bit, but it makes a night and day difference on the old truck. Starts right up, idles nice, and no hesitation on acceleration. Installation was about as straight forward as you can expect. However, as you would also expect, installing a "Universl" replacement" anything on a 50 year old truck, there is always something that needs modification or attention. For mine, it was the throttle linkage. The old Fords used a 1/8" bent rod that went through the throttle attaching point. Held on with a "through" clip, that rotates and locks the linkage. When I hooked it up to the new carb, opened the throttle blades, the clip kept popping off. Turned out that the Autolite 2100 attaching point is flat, with a tight radius that clears the clip. The Holley is wider, square (er), and has a protrusion that looks like a spring attachment. Also, the hole is much larger, so even if the clip didn't pop off, there would be a lot of slop with the original linkage. So, if you have the "Bent Rod" kind of linkage, then you absolutely need to get one of the spherical end type linkages with it when you buy it. Once that is done, you're good to go.

Great carb.

Tuned right out of the box. Just turned the main idle up a pinch. Worth the extra price over the 500 cfm.
