It is not the Canon for USA

The product is great. But the retailers AI Variety and Walmart through which I bought EOS R50 sell are clueless about what they are selling as bundle to the customer. I tried to register the product on Canon website and then to my shock Canon says it was never intended to be sold in the USA. Meaning, all the software updates and all the EOS Utilities like uploading, editing etc., cannot be done as the product is not compatible with US formats. Also on a separate note, the lens bundle and the filters are 49mm diameter while the main 55-210 mm lens is 55 in diameter. Hence, filters that they sell in the bundle are useless and you have to buy separately. Be aware of what you get when Walmart and AI Variety says are included in the bundle. They may sell products that are mutually incompatible and even sell a camera not to be sold in US.
