Used these for years!!

I've been using these strips for years, probably close to 20yrs. I've yet to meet a dog that doesn't like these, be it mine, family, or friends. And I've yet to have any of my dogs get sick from eating a Purina Bacon Strip, but about the most I give is three per day, sometimes four. These are treats, not the main meal. I've tried the other flavors within this group, and my dogs just seem to prefer the basic bacon flavored. I've not seen any negative reviews/comments from the so called "experts" concerning these treats. Just don't feed your pooch too many per day and I think you'll be okay. Your dog may fall in love with you all over again, although he's using you to get more treats!!

Actually my dogs should be writing this review. They are the ones who love these treats. I like them because they have real bacon. Also, I have an older dog who needs the softer chews and not the hard treats and dog food. I have spoiled my dogs, but the deserve it. I would be a lonely old man without them.

My dogs like the taste of real meat and they love these treats. The ingredients start getting a little lengthy, so I break these into pieces and use them as training treats. Treats, including fresh veggies and fruit, should only be 10% of their diet anyway. By breaking up the treats, I'm not worried about them getting sick or heavy.
