Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking any drug for: anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, gout, arthritis. When using this product a temporary, but harmless, darkening of the stool and/or tongue may occur. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms get worse or last more than 2 days, ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs, diarrhea lasts more than 2 days. If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Yeah, it's definitely not a magic fix, but it does take the edge off when I'm feeling rough. I only reach for it when I'm really stuck and can't get to a bathroom. It's more of a "hold me over" kind of thing for me. Gets the job done in a pinch, though. Definitely a lifesaver when you need it most.

Nice to have extra, if you follow the directions it will do what it says it will do! I grew up with Peptp Bismal in my Mother's medicine cabinet, which she used on her, my Dad %26 4 kids! When I set up my home, Pepto Bismal has always been in my medicine cabinet too!!!!
