Like the perfect Translucide Powder, Loreal is apparently discontinuing another of my other favorite products -- Studio Secrets Professional Eye Shadow Singles. The Sandy Shores color is a perfect overall lid matte for daytime/business, when I don't want (nor would it be appropriate at my conservative job) to wear all the highly metallic shades so in vogue now. Further, no one seems to be selling single shades anymore and I find that unbearably frustrating. For one thing, I typically end up liking ONE of the three or four shades in the multi packs and throw them away when the one little sliver of color I bought the pack for is gone, which is a waste of my money and forces me to buy it more often (maybe that's Loreal's motivation??). Finally, does anyone else have trouble getting product on the brush when they're dealing with such a tiny sliver of product?? I bet you do and I bet like me, you waste half of it because you end up breaking it trying to get it on your applicator. I don't know where I'm going next but I'm so frustrated with Loreal getting rid of every product I love, I think I'm done with this brand.

This is the best color as a highlight. It doesn't go to orange or too pink or too grey. It is PERFECT. I can't find it anymore. What am I going to do?

This is my absolute favorite eyeshadow. I have worn it nearly everyday for many years. It is such a pretty color with just a hint of sparkle. I have been looking for it at local stores for the past few months and haven't been able to find it. Has this line been discontinued? I can't find any information stating so, but it seems that none of the stores in my area that sell L'oreal are carrying this product any longer. I will be so sad if this is the case.
