Does what it's supposed to, support the brackets and both my kayaks ,these are needed to attach your other kayak brackets to, to strap them down.

This is the first set of racks I've bought that weren't made by Thule or Yakima. Because of the low price, I was ready to be disappointed by these racks, but surprisingly they're great! For the price, I'm very impressed with the quality!
