Sangean Portable AM/FM Radio, White, PR-D7

This is without a doubt the best portable radio I have ever seen or owned. The digital tuning alone is worth the price. No more slide rule tuning by analog dials that always drift off the station. AM & FM digital tuning stays on the station without error. Alarm feature is nice. Set day/date also. Headphone jack and also auxillary jack to input mp3 player or Ipod, cd player, etc. So far the speakers are holding up very well and capable of good volume. Collapsable antenna extends to almost 3 feet in length. Uses 6 C cell batteries good for about 70 hours according to manual. There is no carrying handle but I can easily transport it to the bathroom for shower and grooming entertainment. It is not a boombox because that would be too big for my needs. I love this radio and so far, the only negative is that the case is white and I had no choice of colors or black. Oh, this little baby even scrolls the info delivered from the radio stations if they do that for their listeners. And once tuned the backlit display goes dark automatically to be unobtrusive in the dark. All great features with 6 station presets for FM and 6 presets for AM....There is a bit more to it but these are the best of the features.
