Kraft Deli Deluxe 2% Milk American Cheese Slices, 24 Ct Pk, Refrigerated

This KRAFT brand is my favorite American cheese. It has fewer calories than other American cheeses due to the use of two percent milk, This reduces its fat content and helps bring the calorie count down to only 60 total calories per slice. The slices are thinner, too, and NOT individually-wrapped in plastic, which creates a shiny look and texture that I do not find appealing. I think it tastes better for grilled cheese sandwiches. Or, you can try it sandwiched between two freshly-sliced crisp apple slices for a healthier snack.

Whether it's 2% or regular, I must have this cheese in my fridge at all times. I've been enjoying it for decades and so have zillions of other people...which is why it's still being made! It's great in a burger, on a slice of toast, on little English muffin pizzas, as a grilled cheese sandwich, etc. Not gourmet? Don't care!
