I could detect a woody undertone but it's definitely overpowered by the patchouli. Overall, it's a very intense smell and lasts a very long time (I tested it out on a shirt, I could still smell it after a couple of days). Despite my love for long-lasting fragrances, I don't think I could tolerate this one for more than an hour.
