Great for dual fan Crawlers

I put this on my jeep rock crawler. I love the fact that it only utilizes the second fan if needed but has to be adjusted accordingly. Adjustment in the driveway was not sufficient. Once on the trail when the second fan was needed it was coming on hotter than desired temperature. I backed the screw out 5 turns to bring the second fan on at desired temperature and had a great weekend. Instructions were helpful, about one turn equals 3 degrees difference. It did not however tell me which way to turn the screw for increase or decrease in temp but was easy enough to figure out. Left is decrease in temp, right increases temp. I suggest setting the desired temp with one fan, then decrease the temp by turning the adjustment screw 5 turns to the left. That should get you where you want to be. All of this is on a TX jeep and tested 100 degree temperatures in an extreme environment in 4x4 low and low speeds. This should fix my problems with melting relays and wires. 35 amps per fan should be sufficient for most fans but check the amp draw on your fan to be sure before ordering.

Works Good But Settings Instructions Suck

After a day of screwing around with their preset on the control, I did did the re-calibration instructions and the unit now works fine. I would suggest doing this from the "git-go" and be done. I also could not find any rubber plug for the adjustment screw. QC has a little to be desired, outside of that, it's fine. Well thought out parts for install was included.

Well built, not user friendly

The controller adjustment screw is tiny. I had to file down my smallest screwdriver to be able to adjust the temperature range. There is also no way to clearly tell what temperature you are set at. Calibration consists of 22 turns right and 13 turns left to get to 180 degrees. That should be how you open a safe, not work on a car! Otherwise, the unit looks good and works well once you spend an hour dialing it in.
