Cheap But Unreliable

Upon installation for my home theater system, 1/2 immediately failed as it produced a continuous clicking sound. Turning the strip off/on 3 times did not fix the issue, so I made a trip to a local Walmart to return the item. The second unit only lasted a couple of days and it started turning off the slave outlets for no reason. Too lazy to go back to Walmart the second time, I just decided to toss it away. This type of smart power bar appears to be plagued with reliability issues whether it is coming from Walmart or other retailers.
