Springdale cares for their plants, very healthy!

Ive never ordered the indoor plants that have "assorted" in the description. I guess I was feeling adventurous and ordered 2 plants that could be one of many things. I got the plant that was last on my list to get, but let me tell you, they're beautiful. I got the peace lily. Where I'm from, new orleans, we plant these outside. Now Im in a place where thats not possible because of the climate. I've never had one indoors. I think its the dwarf variety. Its simply beautiful and healthy.

Pretty purple ruffled basil plant

I received a purple ruffle basil plant but it's not really purple. It looked pretty healthy after I pruned a couple damaged leaves. I wanted to repot it in a slightly larger pot and found it was totally water logged. I mean, you could squeeze the water out with your hand. Whatever the peat mix they grew it in holds onto to much water and it was so root bound I couldn't really get it off the roots. I will try again after it dries out. Here's hoping I don't kill it!

Smaller plant that is easy to care for. So far, plant has remained healthy. The plastic pot is attractive and looks like it is stone or glazed terra cotta from afar. I have the Black Rabbit's Foot Fern as well and has done nicely in office with artificial lighting.
