Ombre Mercure is the PERFECT neutral eye shadow
My complexion is very fair, with cool undertones, i.e., old-school Irish. Ombre Mercure is the PERFECT neutral for me, because it enables me to accentuate the crease of my eyelid without overwhelming my pale skin with darkness. On a light-to-dark scale, this silvery gray/taupe color is MEDIUM. It lets me do a smoky eye look that is so wearable I can wear it every day, everywhere. I'm sure I will totally use this color for evening/party looks, but I can also wear Ombre Blackstar shadows to the supermarket, etc. The legendary Ombre Blackstar shimmer is SO versatile. YES so shimmery, but there is no glitter. I am in my mid-sixties and IMO this eye shadow looks as good on my "elderly" lids as it does on twenty- and thirty-somethings. Ombre Blackstar has no competition. It's the greatest eye shadow in the world. I am not even exaggerating.
