Great Value Vanilla Almond Awake Cereal, 12.4 oz

I'm recommending this based on my husband's reviews. I'm gluten free so therefore I can't eat this product. He however states that he likes the crunch, and the slightly sweet vanilla taste. The crunch of the almonds is also a plus. You've got everything in the cereal, slightly sweet and crunch. He loves it and I keep buying it because it's priced right. I just wish they made a gluten free version.

I thought there was something familiar about this cereal. When I was a kid, my mother used to take a bowl of Special K cereal and add just a touch of vanilla and throw in a handful of nuts or raisins, whatever she had available, and that was breakfast. I first tried Great Value Vanilla Almond Cereal because the store was out of my usual brand and this was their substitution. I've been eating it ever since. It tastes just like home, only better. If you like your cereal a little sweet and a little crunchy without being overpowering with either, then this is the cereal for you. Thanks Walmart. Excellent substitution.
