Affordable, decent sound but doesn't keep a tune
The violin doesn't really ever keep a tune. My recommendation would be to remove all the pegs and coat them with rosin to give a little bit more friction and hopefully they'll stick. The bridge also keeps sliding out of place but for a $40 violin I guess you can't really argue. It has a surprisingly sweet sound once you do get it to tune.
