Wish I had bought this years ago

Definitely makes it easier to deal with smaller logs and pieces as they burn down. My old grate had huge slots and wood would fall thru as it burned. I had to add more logs much sooner than I do now. I was a bit hesitant about the height, but it isn't jarring like I thought it would be. If anything I can see the fire better. Oh and you can position the legs to angle the back of the grate higher than the front if you want. I thought that was a nice feature.

The last fire grate ever?

Judging from the sturdiness of this grate i will not have to replace it for a long, long time unlike others I have to replace every 2 years. I have wood this time that burns very hot and it's holding up just fine. If the legs were one inch shorter (have a small fireplace) it would be perfect
