Fabric is thicker and softer than typical leggings. Stretch is perfect. I sized up to Large so they would not snug my rear (like leggings), for work, (5'7" 135lb, small frame).

It is difficult to find clothes to fit well/right and these are great - stretchy and strong, lightweight and comfortable - and they don't fall down. Wish there were more colors available.
