New 24-volt planetary gear reduction starter motor for Mitsubishi and Kobelco heavy excavators equipped with the Mitsubishi 6D22 series inline-6 diesel engine (11.9L / 11,945cc). Features 5.5kW (7.4HP) output with 11-tooth pinion gear (47.9mm OD) and clockwise rotation for reliable cold-start performance in demanding construction environments. PLGR design provides superior cranking torque-to-weight ratio compared to direct drive starters, critical for turning over large-displacement diesel engines. Three-ear mounting configuration with 13.5mm unthreaded holes provides direct bolt-on installation to OEM mounting locations on the 6D22 engine block. Fits 6D22 naturally aspirated, 6D22T turbocharged, and 6D22TC turbocharged/intercooled engine variants. Direct OEM replacement for Mitsubishi M9T60171 and Mitsubishi Industrial ME152487. Supersedes earlier numbers ME049186 and M2T78681.

All purchases made in error, bought by mistake, or returned to sender due to an incorrect address are subject to a 20% restocking fee & require a return authorization.
