Apply to bare ground or when weed growth is small; if weeds are taller than 6 inches, mow or cut down weeds and remove debris before treating. Also spray before laying surfacing materials to prevent growth of weeds under asphalt driveways, play areas, tennis courts and parking areas. Spray vegetation until completely wet. Allow spray to soak into the ground, avoiding runoff to nearby desirable vegetation.
