This is a wonderful ceiling fan! It works beautifully and doesn't make any noise. I love the simple design. I purchased a smaller one for our bedroom and it looks great. This one is a little larger and we put it on the ceiling of our back porch. It's perfect! Don't be afraid of the modern style because it actually is perfect for any decoration. Great air movement, light could be a little brighter. For some reason there is a delay in unit turning on when we hit the switch, but it could be the way it was wired. Looks fabulous, and is very silent. Used as indoor fan in large bonus room.
