Don't need prescriptions--just a simple pill that I take every morning and I have not had heartburn. At some point in my life, after decades of drinking various carbonated neverages, my stomach began rebelling. Long story short, after an endoscopy which showed a very bright red spot on my internal stomach wall that was close to bursting through the wall, I was given a list of foods and drinks to avoid. Top of the list was cabonated beveerages, which I cut out cold turnkey. The omeprazole prescription was a little on the expensive side at the time, so I found the non-prescription version and have been taking at at any time I feel some acid reflux starting. It works wonders. to take it as needed when experiencing the early signs of acid reflux. It knocks the reflux back, and with this package of the medication, does so in an exconomical way. It's a good deal.
