Prepac 36 pair Shoe Storage Rack, Drifted Gray

It's hard to find shoe storage that isn't crazy expensive or obviously look like it is utility storage. This unit had an acceptable price point, and fits well at the entry of our house. We used to have a big shoe rack with those metal bars, but it kept coming apart. We temporarily used a bookcase, but it didn't hold as many shoes due to the wide spacing between the shelves. That's when I searched and found this option. From the side, it looks like a bookcase, which is how most people will see it in our house. But from the front it looks well organized and gives us some more room for our shoes. The quality is what I expected. The coating scratches VERY easily, so be careful during assembly! I do wish that it had some room at the bottom for boots. I tried not putting some of the horizontal dividers in, but it looks silly since the vertical slat is cut for them. You might could try to match some contact paper or duct tape to match and cover this, but I didn't want to worry about it and ended up just leaving my boots to the side with all dividers in place. Overall, it's a nice addition to our home and gives our shoes a nice place to reside.
