The Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser contains and releases the appliance’s detergent and rinse aid during the cleaning cycle. If the detergent assembly of your dishwasher does not dispense the detergent or rinse aid properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin.
