Worth every penny
I needed to extend the number of external monitors from the laptop and now I can drive more than just the HDMI 1. The response is usually very quick and clean but not for gaming or anything of that nature.

Great product ...
I ordered this a while back and have been loving it. It handles just about everything I can throw at it just fine. However, you should know that it does NOT support hardware acceleration. This means most mid to high end games won't work with it. Even she screen savers. With that said, don't bother with the driver CD that comes with it. Just go the web site and download the latest drivers. For Mac users (like myself) I had to go displaylink.com for the latest for my MacBook Pro. I know have a dedicated screen just for mail, the Kindle App, and anything else to reference. I use it sort of like a scratch pad or cork board. For that, it is wonderful.
