This is the only dry food that my German Sheppard/Husky will eat without having to mix in any wet food. It's nutritional balance is perfect for her health and with the added benefeit of having tuna and salmon, she gets her omega's. I do give her Arctic Krill and Alaskan Salmon Oil supplements, as the Husky side of her breed goes back generations to dogs who sustained on mostly just raw fish. In the ever increasingly expensive world of manufactured dog foods, which include ingredients dogs never should have been exposes to, to begin with, we have tgis one as an affordable and decently healthy option. I wont go as far to say that it is the healthiest choice for dogs, in general, because they should have been fed simple meats to begun with. They should eat as their Wolf ancestors do. Ever see a Wolf eating vegetables? No? Well there's a reason for that. The reason for dog foids containing all these other ingredients is simply because it is cheaper to manufacture with filler ingredients. Unless lts meat, its a filler. I live how rhey put pictures of vegetables or seeds or grains that are healthy for humans then they put 'Healthy grains and vegetables ' on the package. Healthy for humans, yes. No, they won't harm your dog, at least not in the short time, but they are not what a dogs digestive system is made for. They have a simple digestive system. Nothing like a humans. They don't process these ingredients that we do. But they use them bexause its cheap and profitability is the main objective. They are a business for profit. They are not there because of some overpowering duty to devote themselves to creating the healthiest food a dog could have. They are their to make $$. Profitability is the ultimate decider. Not the preservation of animal health.

So far,so good. My dog loves this food. I got it because the other dog food was out of stock and similar. I got the Salmon to try to help with skin allergies and have not seen a difference. This does help my dog gain a little wait with her fast metabolism.
