Great buckets for watering livestock %26 pets
I've used these heated buckets for years for my goats. They work great. Never had any issues with them however I do replace them annually in efforts to reduce fire hazards in the barn. The goats drink the luke warm water so much better than they do cold water in the winter. These prevent ice in the water and use minimal electricity. The metal wrapper cord is only a moderate deterrent for chewers though. They can chew the cord through the metal spirals. When my goats were kids I prevented unwanted chewing by running the cord through PVC and mounting the PVC to the wall. It worked perfectly. I tried a few different methods for watering in the winter and these buckets have been the easiest, safest, and most preferred by my goats. Highly recommend for anyone needing to provide water in cold weather.
