Effective shield for four years and counting

This unit is easy to assembly and fits well on a 4x4 mounting post that would hold, say, a wood duck box above it. We've had six of these in place for four seasons now with no weather wear that we can see. However, be careful if you want to use a riding mower around them... We managed to dent a couple of 'em by riding too close. Our bad, not the product's fault, for sure. The ducks have raised young in the boxes above them and we've not experienced invasion from squirrels, snakes, raccoons, etc. Good, dependable product that does what it says it'll do.

They seem to work very well.

I have put one of these on the pole that holds 4 bird feeders and it has been great. I bought this last one for a 4x4 post that holds a bluebird house. Last year raccoons or possums took the baby birds out of the nest 2 different times before they could hatch. I think this will solve the problem.
