Take me to the moon

A fantastic build! A lot of fun seeing it come together…really enjoyable doing the build…and absolutely love the appearance. Definitely a 10 out of 10 in my book. Next? Please consider The Unicorn as a build with Tintin and Co in their regular clothes…that would be so brilliant!

Fantastic construction

As a lifelong Tintin fan I impulse-bought this set. I tried to avoid reviews so that I would enjoy the set to the maximal level. It did not disappoint! The construction is solid. Technic pins and bars are throughout the set providing stability. The angling is accurate and clever. The smooth panel construction on the outside hides the skeleton and makes for a beautiful and non-Lego appearance which I really appreciate. The minifigure selection is appropriate. The secondary faces are quite suitable for the various emotions throughout the Moon albums. I especially liked the joyful expressions provided for the Thom(p)sons. It would have been nice to receive the characters' classical outfits to switch them out to, just because those are more iconic and we got 5 of the same bodies for the moon suits. Overall, the set is tall and strong, and really stands out in a room. But you can also pick it up and fly it around if you want. Praise the designers and give us more Tintin sets haha.

Amazing Set!!

I was lucky enough to get this set on launch day at my local Lego shop! As soon as I saw it I knew I had to get it. I'm a Tintin fan and I thought this was a really good set and I would be happy if this was the only Tintin one we got. The minifigures are extremely accurate and I especially loved Snowy the dog. It was great fun to build and took me roughly 4 hours. The techniques used to get the shape are very impressive and it looks great in person. Quite a tall set and good number of pieces for this price. It comes with 11 bags and the instruction manual has a nice few pages on the fan designer. I would recommend to Tintin and Lego fans!
