This item I use for a number of different things. if I want my homemade bread to hold more water, I put in a 18 teaspoon per loaf and it really helps hydrate the dough and hold its shape. other people in the family will mix it with water or a drink and you know what they take it for. yeah, it really works in that area too. 🙂

Works like the Meta brand but much lower cost!

This works as well as Metamucil but much less expensive! I use the unflavored with sugar so it tastes a little like breakfast cereal or unflavored oatmeal. It does tend to gel up a little quicker than Metamucil so make sure you stir it into VERY cold water! That gives you time to mix it and drink it down before it gels .

I did not want the orange flavoring so that eliminated both the regular brand and the unflavored Walmart brand. Because of price, I went with the less expensive Walmart brand. I have a significant, chronic condition so this is a product I have to use every day. I have been using this product for over a year and find it to work well. My cholesterol has improved slightly while using it. I would recommend it as a fiber supplement if your medical professional advises you to increase your fiber safely.
