Walmart Wellness Benefits

Look on the back of your card or call the number below based on your managed care provider. All call centers are open from 6am-9pm CT, 7 days a week, excluding Thanksgiving & Christmas:

Use the options below. You will need a Walmart account before adding your card to your Walmart.com Wallet.

Activate by computer: 1: Go to Walmart.com 2: Go to your Account in the top right corner 3: Add your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card information.

Activate using the QR code: 1: Make sure you have your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card. Look on the back for the QR code. 2: Open your phone camera and hover it over the QR code. When the QR code is in the frame, a link will automatically pop up. Tap this link. 3: Add your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card information.

Activate by phone: Call the number from the first question in the FAQs above

1. Add your card to your Walmart account before viewing eligible items.

2. As you search for eligible items, look for the Walmart spark badge icon [include graphic] found under the item details and when clicking on the item for more details.

3. To view only eligible items, use the “Benefit Programs” filter, then select your program to view program eligible items only.  

4. When checking out, the funds on your Walmart Wellness Benefits card will be added to the eligible items in your cart. Any items not eligible will be paid by your default card on your Walmart account.  

This will vary based on your program. Add your card to your Walmart account and follow the steps above to find eligible items.

1. On Walmart.com or via the Walmart App

a. Add your card to your Walmart account

b. Once added, you will be able to view balance and fund expiration dates using these ways:

i. In your Walmart account where the card is saved

ii. At walmart.com/wellnessbenefits when your card is saved to your account

iii. During chekcout, click "Edit Payment" to view funds tht are being used nad funds remaining

2. You can also call the number listed on this page to retrieve your card balance

The funds do not rollover.

1. Open "Services" on your Walmart app. Click "check a price"

2. Hover your phone over the in store item's barcode to scan.

3. The in store item will show on your app and will show the eligible badging icon below Delivery and Pickup information.

4. Pay with your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card at any register when you checkout. The card will only pay for the eligible items. You will need a second payment method for any products not covered by your Walmart Wellness Benefits card.

Coverage of shipping costs varies by program. If your program covers shipping, this will be automatically reflected during checkout.

Orders are subject to state sales tax based on the state in which you reside. Orders may also be subject to a tax on delivery or shipping charges. This tax will also be covered by your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card. Coverage of any taxes varies by program. If your program covers some or all these taxes, this will be automatically reflected during checkout.

If your total is more than your available/remaining benefits on your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card, you will need to pay the balance due out of pocket with another payment method. If checking out on Walamrt.com or on the Walmart app, the remaining balance that is not covered by your benefit card will come from your Default card. To use a different card for payment, click "Edit Payment" during checkout. If checking out at a Walmart store, you can use any payment type for the remaining balance.

Items bought with your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card in-store may be returned with a receipt for a refund to your Walmart Wellness Benefits Card or exchanged for the same item. Items may not be returned for cash. Items purchased on Walmart.com will be refunded to the original method of payment.
