Mineral Water in Water
About Mineral Water in Water - Walmart.com
What is the difference between mineral water and spring water?
Mineral water has specific minerals dissolved into it, typically calcium, magnesium, zinc, sodium, potassium, and iron, while spring water includes whatever minerals are present in the water source. These minerals can have health benefits. Also, mineral water can be processed through filtration, distillation, or reverse osmosis, while spring water is typically only processed via reverse osmosis to retain its quality.
What is alkaline water?
Alkaline water is bottled water with a higher pH level than standard water. While there is anecdotal evidence of mild health benefits, little hard evidence exists to support alkaline water being a superior product for your overall health.
Is carbonated water as healthy as non-carbonated water?
In terms of hydration and lack of sugar, carbonated water without added sugars is just as good as non-carbonated water. However, tap water includes added fluoride to help your teeth, and carbonated water is more acidic, which can be more erosive to your teeth than non-carbonated water.
