Stanchions

Stanchions are upright, sturdy fixtures with durable bases that keep people lined up in orderly queues and out of unsafe or restricted spaces. Stanchions offer effective crowd control and make excellent, low-cost barriers for areas you want to keep off limits.

Queue poles: Queue poles are attractive and enhance the decor of stores, banks, theaters, and other public spaces. Stainless-steel, chrome, or golden posts hold conventional red velvet crowd-control ropes.

Contemporary stanchions: Modern stanchions have minimalist designs and are often finished in black metal coatings. Some have retractable belts that are horizontal rather than hanging in half-circles like standard stanchion ropes.

Exterior-grade stanchions: Stanchions used in outdoor settings like parking lots, building sites, and sidewalks may be made with plastic-covered or all-plastic posts and plastic chains or belts between the posts. Plastic-finished stanchions are weather-resistant and easier to clean than chrome and velvet stanchions.
