Choosing the right perfume for women isn't as simple as selecting a scent you like. There are a variety of factors to consider, such as the different notes, when you will wear it, and the amount.

Decide which scent family you would most like to wear, such as floral, citrus, woody, or spicy. Each has different scent characteristics that may appeal to you. Furthermore, spicy and woody scents are typically better for colder seasons while floral and citrus notes speak more to warmer times of year.

You may want to wear a perfume around for a day or two to test the scent before making a purchase. If possible, purchase some sample-size perfumes to test at your leisure. The scent can change based on your body chemistry, which is your own unique natural scent. The way a perfume smells in the bottle may not be what it ends up smelling like on you.
