Is instant coffee the same as ground coffee?

No. Ground coffee is coffee ground from real coffee beans and that’s it. To use it to make coffee, you will need a coffee machine or a filter for your cup. Instant coffee can be made straight into your cup by simply adding water. Instant coffee is made by roasting and grinding coffee beans and brewing them. They are then stripped of their water content and the extract left behind makes instant coffee.

Just how instant is instant coffee?

Making instant coffee is a very quick process. Just boil a kettle and put a spoonful of instant coffee into a mug with the boiled water. Then, stir. Add milk and sugar if desired.

Does instant coffee taste the same as filter coffee?
