Should I buy men's swimwear in my regular size?

Since some fabrics stretch when they get wet, you may want to size down for a suit that you'll be swimming in if the fabric is stretchy. However, you can also buy your normal size. If you won't be swimming but using your suit as activewear, purchase your regular size. If you purchase swim trunks with a drawstring waist, your regular-size swim trunks should suffice.
