About Bike Fenders in Bike Accessories - Walmart.com
What size fenders do I need for my bike?
A fender should be at least 8mm wider than the tire. If your tire is 42mm, the fender should be 50 or 52mm. You should have 20 to 30mm of space between the tire and bridges and tire and fork crown to fit most fenders.
What's the difference between a clip-on fender and a full fender?
A clip-on fender does just as its name says. It will clip onto your bike and can be easily removed. They cover less of your wheel than a full fender, so they won't completely stop road spray. Full fenders have longer blades to surround the wheels. They are designed for all-weather riders as they give full coverage.
Are bike fenders easy to replace?
Installing new bike fenders should be easy. You might need to replace the trim and sidepieces from your old fender onto your new fender.
