Relax as you treat your face with a sheet mask. Choose your preferred material and consider your skin type and any skin conditions you may have.

Material: Paper is a basic sheet mask material that's porous and breathable but doesn't hold serums well. A cotton mask won't stick to your face but holds serums better than paper masks. A bio-cellulose mask is breathable and sticks to your skin, so it absorbs more serum. A hydrogel mask isn't breathable, so it locks in the moisture.

Skin type: For dry skin, choose hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycerin. Control breakouts with calming ingredients, such as aloe vera and oatmeal. Absorb excess oil in oily skin with charcoal and kaolin clay.

Skin condition: For anti-aging properties, look for a sheet mask with retinol. Caffeine is a good ingredient for inflamed skin. Add shine to dull skin with fruit extracts such as papaya, lime, or grapefruit.
