Great tool to help I.D. tones from detector

I used my detector for the first time at an old homestead. At first I didn't have the headphones on and just the noise from nature was distracting. However, once I had the headphones on and comfortably adjusted the slightest variation in the tone was noticeable. Had a ready good first day, found one 1941 Mercury dime, two 1940's Lincoln cents and one canning jar with the old zinc ring and seal with a glass insert in the seal, it was in pretty rough shape but once cleaned up it looked outstanding, thanks Bounty Hunter.

Cord is to short

The overall performance of these head phones are actually very good. The dual adjustment for volume is a plus. The problem at least for me is that when I put down my metal detector I must remove the head phones as well because the cord is to short to leave them on. The first few times doing this is no big deal but after spending a few hours do it becomes old. I was able to purchase an extention however this is an added cost.

    Great Product

    headphones--that's about all you can say

    They work good and all that; good value i suppose but they WERE almost 40 bucks which i find to be quite expensive for a walmart product that's as basic as this is. But I ordered them, got them, and used them and they DO work great. It's just a little steep for what they are; next time i may comparison shop before buying at walmart.

    Not going to find beach treasure with these

    I have the bounty hunter metal detector, purchase regular headphones that didn't work. Bought these because they were advertised to work with the metal detector. We tested them at home, all was good, so we headed out for the beach waiting to find who knows what. I was expecting them to work like they did at home.....Yea, not really. Very hard to hear the pings especially if you're walking along the beach and there's a breeze. Heard lots of static though. Might work great if you're in the woods and it's completely quiet.

    First time used

    Very light on arm.and workes great. Head set and , The Pioneer 202 and head both are very comfortable. I know I am going to en joy the 202.

    They seem to work good!

    I haven't used them personally, so I can't rate them a five, but my son used them looking for a piece of jewelry that was lost in the yard. Although he didn't find what he was looking for he found some other stuff.

    Not a bad buy..

    For the money you can't beat them. They are a nice addition the the metal detector. Your able to differentiate the different sounds on the detector much easier not having all of the background noise.

    Cheap, cheap.....

    China made headphones, you do the math. For the same prices you can buy American. There better by far.
