So easy!

Was looking for a great seating solution for my son's playroom/my office What a good looking futon! Shipping was quick! Assembly was easy! Very happy with this purchase. I knew that I wanted this particular futon and it was best priced at Walmart.com It is low to the ground, so maybe not meant to be used as your primary sofa/couch. It is perfect for our use.

Love the couch but had to return twice for damage

I love this couch, it looks great, a bit stiff but that was to be expected. But when it arrived it was damaged so I had to return it and re-order another one, the second one just arrived and it too is damaged (see image). Maybe third times a charm?? Walmart needs to add better packaging to these products!

    Luv luv luv

    I have had the futons for about 7 months. They are beautiful, no one believe its from Walmart. Shipping was fine one of the boxes was damaged, but sofa was fine. Very easy to put together. It is rather firm, if you like that, than its easy to sleep on. I've slept on it, it's fine for a nap, but not all night. Over all WELL worth the price.

    Great for guest room

    We bought both the sofa and chaise for our guest room, very pleased! Color is not arctic white, it's a ivory/buttery color (which is what we wanted). These two pieces together measure 100 inches wide - recommend measuring your space to ensure fit. Opened flat, this combo will provide a twin width guest bed, a single width guest bed, and placed side by side: a queen sized guest bed. You can arrange this set as an L-shaped sectional (as we have in pic), or the sofa as a bed and chaise as a lounge chair, or lay flat the two pieces and keep as a bed.... this flexibility is awesome. For sleeping: Great for visitors whether two friends rooming up with separate beds, a single guest, or a couple. The padding on set is medium-firm so recomm...

    VERY STYLISH

    I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS PIECE OF FURNITURE IT FIT WELL WITH THE LOFT THAT I AM CURRENTLY IN AND I GET A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS ABOUT THE PIECES OF FURNITURE WILL RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE PURCHASE THIS PIECE PEOPLE CANNOT BELIEVE I BROUGHT THIS FROM WALMART ONLINE....     Leather material did not last even a year

    I have been wanting to write this review for a very long time.. The leather on the Futon is of very poor quality. The material began to wither and crack within a year of very light use. Look at the pics I would strongly advise you to put your money is a better quality futon, this isn't worth it and even if you are looking something cheap for a short term, this would lose its resale value as soon as those crack starts to appear on the surface and they definitely would!

    Broke before completing ONE year

    Very bad experience. Front left leg and frame of this futon was broken (see photo attached) on 5/18/2014. Weight limits reads 600 ponds in manual but this futon could not take around 300 ponds. We contact manufacturer at claimscr@dorel.com and sent them photos as futon was under one year warranty. They denied our claim and said "They do not feel this is due to a manufactures defect or workmanship and therefore not covered under out warranty". I kept mentioning them that I and my 6 and 7 years old (climbing on me) in total cannot weight more than around 300 ponds when futon leg and frame was broken but they did not honor my claim. I likely not going to buy this brand again.

    Lovely black futon

    Great product! I am leaning towards the vanilla color but, husband and son like the black one. I am very happy that I got it in black. We used to have a black futon before and I can say that this is way so much better. We placed it in the play room that will also serve as a guest room. I cannot comment on the durability because I just got it last week. Comfort wise, it is pretty comfy for us. Most of the photos in the reviews are in vanilla color and so I am placing a photo of he black one.

    Solution to My Problem

    I was looking for a solution to my problem; how to decorate/furnish an extra room in the house. I didn't want to do a sofa set or sectional as we already have sectionals in the Living Room and the "Man Cave". I decided to do this room in a relaxing "Zen" theme and this futon and chaise lounge was the perfect solution. I initially was going to order it in white because most of the reviews referenced that color choice (and most of the few that had pictures were of the white set) but I did read a couple of reviews on the black and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad that I did. I thought the black would look cheap and inexpensive but I was wrong; it's sleek and contemporary and it looks WAY more expensive than it costs. As other reviewers po...

    Great product for an affordable price

    I read one of the previous reviews of this futon and was worried that it would not function properly. I was amazed at how great this futon is. The previous person did not read the instructions and put the longer 3rd leg in the middle. This makes the futon unstable and would break off if you sat on it. We discovered the mistake we made as well and fixed it. After that it was stable and very comfortable. Read instructions before finishing. The three back legs look the same but one is different and supposed to be in the middle only. For the price you cannot beat this product! Super deal. I want to buy another at a later date.

    You'll be lucky to get a year out of it

    Looked great for the first 4 or 5 months with extremely limited use. First issue was dye transfer from the throw pillows I purchased for it. Some red transferred and left a pinkish stain that will not come out. The "permadent" in the pic occurred after just one prolonged session of gaming on my PS4, while sitting on the right side (as you cannot comfortably straddle the two sections). The left side has remained intact and is really the only side I can sit on. I'm 182 lbs, in case you feel my weight may have somehow factored into the damage. Basically, it's ready for the landfill.

    Perfection! I'm buying more!

    I bought two of these after reading the customer rating. Afterwards, I saw that a few people weren't completely thrilled and I was a bit worried. Delivered today, and they TOTALLY exceed my expectations! I move a lot and have frequent houseguests. I wanted something that looked good in a high end apartment, could function as both a bed and sofa, could even go on the terrace for short periods, and was cheap enough that I wouldn't mind throwing away next time I moved. I won't be throwing these away! I was blown away once I put them together, which took about 5 minutes each. They do NOT look or feel like cheap vinyl. For most people, they can pass as leather.     Looks Good

    It is a very good looking furniture for the price, and it's very easy to put it together. The main complaint about this piece everywhere is that they usually describe it as white and it isn't white. The model name is Vanilla and that would be the color, a very light beige or bone color. And here are some observations: 1. If you are tall your feet will hang out of the futon as a bed. 2. If you are an average to big person  you will probably find the futon too hard. Most people have to buy a pad or pillow top for it. I'll have to buy a pillow top for when I have only one guest over.  3. 2 people wouldn't fit too comfortably in that bed (in that case I have an air bed). 4. It can be hard to find sheets for the bed. It is wider than a twin and ...

    GREAT futon!

    I love this futon! It's very affordable, especially for a poor college student. It is very functional, and comfortable to sit on, and not to bad to sleep on. Unlike a lot of futons, it doesn't have the bars underneath that you feel when you sit/sleep on it. It's perfect for me (I use it every day in my dorm room). It was easy to assemble, and use. The click clack function makes it easy to turn in to a bed.

    Perfect for small spaces!

    I had been watching this futon for a while and reading all the reviews... finally I went for it and I am so glad! This futon is sturdy, soft, chic and modern! Its perfect for my spare bedroom that I am using for a dressing room/den/guest room...My cousin who is about 5'10" came over and slept on it and said it was comfortable. I am very pleased and the futon is everything I hope for!!!

    Just enough

    I was very skeptical about this futon, but never the less, it's exactly what you pay for. It's firm but soft, very cute, low on the ground and very spacious for a small room. If sleeping on this futon, I do recommend a comforter for extra cushion. Shipping was extremely easy and effortless, and assembly was the same very easy detail, litterally one women can do the job. Make sure all pieces are together before starting.

    My Summer Love!

    I had the Emily futon and chaise in my in my cart for 2 weeks. Was so excited to see the price had dropped I was so nervous and excited I immediately purchased it. I'm home on disability due to my cancer being in remission you made my heart smile Wal-Mart thank you so much!

    Beautiful Futon. Love it!

    I ordered this futon about 6 days ago, and it arrived in the mail today. I have two cases of stairs to bring it up, and it was work considering I am only 5'5 and petite. But once I got it up onto the third level of my home, I was happy to know that I didn't need any help to put it together, just screw on the legs which are hidden in a Velcro pocket underneath it (a great hiding spot I might add!). I bought mine in black, and am VERY happy with the appearance. It is sleek and simple, great for my tiny bedroom. I actually am using this as a bed, and it is quite hard, but comfortable. The photos I posted here will not show the texture of the futon, but it is leathery and soft. I am very happy with this, it perfects my look I was looking for.

    Great Purchase for your money!

    I bought this futon because of all of the great reviews and the price point was perfect! Shipping came two days after the date they said it would but I was okay with that. Nothing was damaged at all in the packaging. It was so easy to set up and use right away! So far so good on comfort it is very firm although I have not used it to sleep on yet. I mainly am using it as a option for guest to sleep on to maximize my space. So chic mixed with comfort. I'm glad I bought it.

    very nice expensive looking ..... but it wasn't

    it was very easy to assembly. beautiful pattern. more of a cream beige than white. i really wanted bright white but this will have do due. those other sofas cost alot. the only thing is the back was kind of difficult to make stay up. we finally got it but now i am too nervous to sit on it thinking it might drop down. flipping me over in the process. since i dont want it for a futon i will see if my uncle can re-inforce it to stay up. but i just love it! would recommend to anyone.

    Great Value for the Price

    At first I was't sure about this futon , because of the mixed reviews . But I decided to take the chance . The delivery was fast and it was super easy to put together . You can put it together by yourself , I did it myself 9 months pregnant. It's larger than it appears and not too ;low to the ground like some of the other reviews stated .

    Beautiful, not the most comfortable.

    I've had this futon for over a year, and the main part I love is the appearance. It's a warm white color, and fits perfect in my shabby chic room. I've slept on it twice, and I can say its the most comfortable, but its not the worst! Could use a egg crate foam (or two) with a sheet over to be sleep-worthy. If you're using it for more watching tv, then it's perfect. (Be aware if you like resting your arms on an arm rest, this isn't for you.)The back is black and sticks out, so its easier to put the back against a wall, but it is also very easy to "Hide" the back with things like lace. All in all, I love it for the price and it works just perfect for my everyday needs.
