Great, inexpensive TV!

Our last off brand TV lasted us 7 years, so after we read the mostly good reviews for this other brand we hadn't heard of, we figured why not? It was easy to assemble, started up nicely, and the picture is SO clear! The only thing we can't figure out how to do is watch online shows; it keeps asking us to install a player of sorts. This is our first "smart tv" so we have some things to figure out still, but it's a great tv for the price. Very happy with our purchase!

Disapointment

After researching many brands I decided to go with a cheaper off brand as many of the TV seem to have problems and a short lifespan. I figured why not get the most for as little as possible? Pretty good value for what it is but having problems right out of the box is not a great way to instill confidence in a product. I got it home and there was literally no sound. great picture but no sound. you kinda need both. I returned this TV and bought a different brand, Philips 49 smart TV which so far has been great and was just 50 bucks more.

    Great Tv....

    Looked around for a month at different tv's. I saw this tv and took a chance with it. Simply has the best picture of any tv I have ever owned. It really makes football fun to watch and makes you feel like you are at the game. I also checked out the company and they have been around awhile and seem to be really popular in Australia.     GREAT TV! PERFECT PICTURE!

    My boyfriend and I recently purchased this television for $438 ($470 with tax) and it is well worth the money! The picture is better than any Vizio I've ever owned and the HiSense TVs had the best looking picture in the entire store. Sound is great. Smart TV features are awesome! Apps such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. Love the Netflix button on the remote! Overall, I cannot believe we snagged such a great TV for the price. We almost purchased the 50", but due to the slim edge, the sales associate showed us that you really can't tell much of a difference between the 48" and 50", and we saved $50 by going with the 48".     Blown Away

    I wasn't sure what to expect from this relatively unknown/unheard (to me) brand. The price was just too good to be true and a lot of reviews seem to have positive comments. Although I have only had it for 2 weeks, I cannot be any more happy with this purchase! The overall quality is amazing and the features are nothing short of unbelievably great! I would highly recommend it!

    **DO NOT UPDATE!!**

    I bought this TV and didnt know what to really expect because I never heard of "Hisense". Out of the box it was easy to attach the stand. Once I turned it on it was easy to set up. After playing with a few of the built-in features, (Youtube, web browser, etc) I decided to do the system software update. After downloading & installing the update, a few of the functions stopped working including the Youtube (which is one of the BEST features IMO) After calling customer service, I sat on hold for nearly an HOUR, and still no one answered. So DON'T expect to talk to anyone to fix ANYTHING. Reluctantly, I returned the TV to Walmart, and got another & just decided to NEVER do the update. If you are looking forward to doing Youtube on it, DO NOT UP...

    Excellent :)

    No doubt about it , great pic sharpness excellent vivid colors good volume ....great for a mid sized living room...I've own a 40" hisense since 1-1/2 years and works like a charm good as new....... Dont hesitate to buy this brand ...you wont go wrong........ 3 hdmi inputs :) dvd player ,ps3 cable...

    Great value

    I had bought a similar TV [46 in.] from the same manufacturer a few years back. I found the TV to have excellent picture quality and, as far as I am concerned, completely adequate sound. No technical problems were ever detected. I bought this one because I needed a second TV and because it has added features {wireless internet etc.]. Having run it for a week, I can only say that I am not disappointed. I doubt that you can get a better value for the price. Of course, I can not make long-term predictions about the reliability of these products, but so far-so good.

    Excellent TVs

    This is the second Hisense tv we have purchased from wal-mart. We couldn't be more happy about there performance. I would highly recommend this brand of TV even if the wal-mart rep we bought the first one from wouldn't ......lol ....she was way off let me tell ya ! both our 60" and this new 48" are smart TVs and they are very simple to set up. Well worth the money !

    very disappointed

    Couldn't adjust to get decent picture. Would shut off by its self. Most viewing wasn't full screen. Speakers not very good. Spent almost 2 week trying to adjust picture & sound. Am returning today.

    Great Tv!

    This Tv is amazing!!! The price was a steal! I admit I had never heard of this brand but after research I found nothing but god things so I decided to go with it! It was easy to set up and its been great every since. Even the sound is great!

    Didn't last 3 years

    This was a nice TV and a good price but it quit working after 2 years. Not such a good deal now. Hisense was no help. Will never buy Hisense again.

    EXCELLENT VALUE

    This is our second Hisense. Purchased this one for the family room and have the 50" in the living room. We have had the 50" for a couple years and never a problem. Crystal clear picture and nice sound. Smart TV features available if needed. We were not sure about ordering an off-brand, but this one is THE BEST. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
