Great camera

I purchased this camera for my 88 yr old mother who lives alone. She is so happy that she can see who is at the door without getting up or opening the door. So pleased with this camera. ;)

Save Yourself Much Trouble And Avoid This Product

I have been looking for a surveillance camera for a year or two, that would allow me to record and review by date and time. Then I began seeing a few camera and receiver systems that loop-record onto an SD card. There were not many of them out there and not many reviews, suggesting there were not many in use. The DigiairWatch description fit just what I was looking for. But, that's not what I got. Before I get into my discovering the actual product functions (or malfunctions), I must tell my experience of actually getting a working unit.     Great camera

    Easy to set up

    The camera not only takes a good picture but can be saved to a SD card. A good motion detector. The audio can be picked up at a good distance.

    Good for the price

    This model of Secrurityman Surveillance System is a reliable product without a lot of the unnecessary bells and whistles that usually come with products of this nature. The drawback to this product is that you have to provide a monitor and a 32Gb Memory chip of your own to view recorded video.

    Not as convenient as it seems

    I bought this system from another retailer, and paid full retail price. I wanted wireless convenience, but did not realize that the camera needs it's own independent power supply, and comes with a plug-in transformer and about 8 feet of cord. This limits where the camera can be placed. After installation, the receiving unit quit working. SecurityMan was good about sending a replacement unit, once provided with proof of purchase. Camera resolution is only fair. The set up menu is clunky and inconvenient, and there is no battery backup, so if power is cut, the time and date stamp has to be reset. After a few days, the SD card stopped recording properly. I don't know if it's the card or the unit, and at this point, don't care. I'm scrapping th...

    Terrible Product

    I purchased this unit. Then purchased 3 additional cameras. Was by no means a cheap investment. The system worked "okay" for a while. Bad picture of course but at least worked. Then for no reason the power plug stopped working so I had to purchase a new power supply. Worked okay again for a while. Then started powering off and on constantly. Finally went all the way down. So I now have 4 expensive cameras and no way to use them. I would not recommend this to anyone and I wish I would have found this review prior to buying it.

    Bad picture, no sound, poor quality

    This is a very poor quality item. Cameras are cheap no qulity junk with no sound and very poor picture. They only record when they want to not when you want them to. I am selling this junk system in my garage sale immediately. Will purchase arlo2 by netgear.

    Might return this, motion detection not great. Stopped recording and the person was still outside moving around. Can not schedule recording - its needed - I missed it in the description. Paid less than current price of 12.20.15. Would not have if not on sale
