- 5 out of 5 stars review1/13/2011I bought one of these speakers for my granddaughter's iPod and the sound was of such good quality that I bought another black one for my black MP3 player and a red one for my red MP3 player! I would definitely recommend this speaker - the sound quality is awesome!!

turnerl58 - 5 out of 5 stars review4/16/2011I bought this to use for travel. Took it on a cruise for use in the cabin as well as in hotel rooms. This works perfect for small spaces. Obviously, this is not a high end speaker but was very happy with the quality and sound.

pbmo091855 - 5 out of 5 stars review3/27/2012This is an excellent speaker. I use it on my mp3 player, lap top computer and also as an adjunct speaker for the TV and CD player. My wife and I are past the 75-year point; which means a little assistance is needed to hear the actors when they mumble. I plan to purchase a couple more of these little gems.

MT22 - 5 out of 5 stars review4/19/2011When I got this product I could not believe the fact that something so small and light weight could produce good quality sound it's easy to take with you on the go I couldn't ask for more my parent gave it to me and plans on buying another one and I am for it I don't see why not it's a great product from my experience

If you travel frequently and like to listen to your music in your hotel room this tiny little gadget will take up very little room in your carry on. Very pleased with the quality, design and sound projection. Very good value for the price.

I did not expect much sound from such a small package, but was happily surprised. Even the bass sound is not totally lost. For this small price, you get a great product. The only problem I had was that I forgot to shut the switch off (it's small and easy to forget). I went through the batteries quickly because of this.

NANO7 - 3 out of 5 stars review2/2/2013This was great for the short time that it lasted. The sound was great. It was easy to use. The problem is that it didn't last long. The circuit board shorted out within a month of getting it. Maybe it is because I kept it plugged in, but that shouldn't be an issue if it is a good design. I don't recommend this if you plan on keeping it for a while. If you are looking for short term sound, though, it has powerful volume for it's size and portability.

Did like the choice of different colors. Perfect for travel and occasional use. I would have chosen something better for a semi permanent installation and more frequent use. It has a very tinny sound to it, and was not very loud - I had to turn my Sansa View all the way up in order to get a good volume out of it. No volume control either - just on/off button. Nice small package, but not worth buying. I found the iLuv Ultra-Portable Stereo Speaker to be a much better product if you're looking for a small convenient all-in-one speaker package - with much better sound quality, a lot louder volume and with volume controls. The iLuv is a little larger, and about $5 more, but well worth it.

He works a lot outside and inside and it's really great for him because he can carry it around easily and the sound is flawless! Very glad I purchased this and not to mention, the price is unbeatable!

A matter of fact, after hearing his, I decided to purchase another one. Phillips has produced an outstanding product that not only sounds good but looks good as well. It will make any phone, MP3 player or disc player sound like its worth a million bucks....great buy for price as well...

Not2ez2plz - 1 out of 5 stars review4/10/2012Have owned two of these. In one I suspect wire seperated in cable or at a joint. Can wiggle near joint and it will operate. In the other I suspect a loose internal connection. Can slap or bang it and it will operate. Units are constructed such that internal parts are not accessible. Good idea. Bad implementation.

The actual phone speaker falls a little short for this application. This unit works and sounds great. The spekers at the Verizon store are more high end, I think for maximum music output, and MUCH more expensive. This works perfectly and for the price, can't be beat

However i was impressed with the loudness and clarity of it. ATTENTION: it is not "plug and play" it requires 3 AAA bateries to function Nevertheless it is totally worth it and I would recommend it

ili16 - 1 out of 5 stars review4/12/2012this product is designed for listening and boast you can carry it in a way that you should never carry an electronic device. its a catch 22.they tell you to take the part you plug into your mp3 player insert it into the speaker system itself lock it by way they provide in the speaker unit and carry it like that which actually shorts out the system. that is wrong would you carry your home speaker by its wire? no!!!! saying that i called support and it was one of the best support experiences ive ever had they will replace the system and they take note to your concerns. the speaker itself has a unsurpassed sound and are cheap to purchase so if you can be gentle with the cord its worth a try just keep your reciept
