- 5 out of 5 stars review10/30/2019I was surprised at the quality of polish for the little amount of money spent. This polish is thick and glossy and leaves your nails looking like they have a gel manicure. I use it as a top coat but it can be used on its own as well. The polish also becomes very tacky once introduced to air and the product doesn't last long. - 5 out of 5 stars review6/27/2022I love using Sally Henson Hard Nails, after applying it to my nails it gives a really good shine which i like. Using this product is amazing, you can use it co many ways to protect your nails. Nonetheless, you can use it after you polish your nails as well. Such a great product to have.

I have have a nail bitting issue on off since I was a kid. And so my nails are not in great shape. This is a great way to toughen up your nails and its nice and shiny too.

I work a retail job and I am constantly using my hands to open boxes and stock shelves. My nails are very weak and tend to peel back several layers, I think this is due to years of nail-biting when I was a child. Anyway, THIS LASTS SO LONG! Usually, all nail polish will chip after a day of work and it leaves me so frustrated. I decided to give this a try to see how it would go and so far it has held on strong. I do not have long nails but so far the peels that I am currently dealing with are actually sealed in with this nail polish. I really hope this product allows the nails to grow out just enough to where I can file off those peels. As far as the...

If anything this made my nails weaker if that was even possible. This is very heavy on the nail and it peels which was surprising. I do not recommend.

They look pretty but tend to break easily so I always use a coat of the Hard as Nails. Over time you can see a difference.

Before I apply my base coat, I'll apply a layer of this first and wait for it to dry. It says it can be used as a base coat itself but I prefer to use a separate base coat. Also, sometimes I'll apply this in between manicures Ex... I'll apply this over my polish 2 days after doing a new manicure. Usually, I'll only do this if I have a broken nail growing back. My nails are brittle sometimes and I use Sally Hansen to make them apple and stop the splitting with excellent results. The price doesn't hurt my pocket. It goes on without small bubbles like some brands I've used. This is what my mom always bought me to try to help with those problems. It worked as it should and I eventually no longer needed it because I started taking hair and nail vitamins which did my nails wonders. If I consistently use this they definitely get stronger. Without it they are paper thin and break off constantly. Once I run out I HAVE to buy a new one immediately.
