- 2 out of 5 stars review7/27/2012I bought this product hoping that it was really "powerful acrylic gel". It is not. I used it as directed and it chipped off within 10 minutes of getting to work the next morning.

They thinned them out, split them, weakened them and just made me want to cry because I love seeing women with beautiful nails. I started using this amazing product and now in about two weeks, I already have grown out nails with nice white tips. I love this product. Yes, I know the stuff does get a bit thick and stringy, and is sometimes hard to apply, but patience pays and I love my longer more beautiful nails!

When I seen this I was happy to find something that says it will help them be stronger and well it made them "thicker" but there are bubbles after it dries. And it took 2 hours to completely dry and not to mention it's gooey and has "strings" from it when you pull the brush out of the bottle. I'm going to toss it in and garbage and I will not be using this product anymore. Big disappointment!

I'm not sure if I had greater expectations than what it was offering or what but I was disappointed. So my thought was because it said wraps that it would have the strength and hardness of a nail wrap. It didn't. I would use this as a top coat if needed because I ran out of actual top coat. - 5 out of 5 stars review12/25/2019This one is amazing! I would recommend it to anyone! I loved it so much I would also use it as a top coat for my acrylic nails or regular painted nails. I bought over 4 of these. They're quiet expensive but it's a charm. It does get tacky over time but the quality goes on a 10. It's glossy, dries quick and really hardens the nail. I've had acrylics before the pandemic and now, prefer to do my own nails. So, I may add this to my new nail routine.

- 3 out of 5 stars review4/23/2021This treatment didnt help my nails very much overall with hardness - my nails stayed pretty easy to bend and peel even after regular use of this product. What DID help long term was drinking more water, using cuticle oil nightly, and taking vitamins and a biotin supplement. I dont recommend this product.

When I saw this product I was very hopeful but I'm afraid the product simply does not live up to expectations and deliver what it is advertised to do. Within literally hours of applying it as a base coat, my nail polish is peeling off. I would not recommend the product at all. Please everyone, save your money.

It's a little on the expensive side so I didn't like that my nails would start peeling or chipping around 2 or 3 days of a fresh paint job. So I do think that it took away the longevity of my nail polish. So what I do now is use this on my bare nails for acouple of days without any nail polish on top then when I feel like I need to apply nail polish, I'll use another Sally Hansen product that helps with growth or another hardener product that won't peel as fast as this one. I do think that by doing this trade off has helped my nails grow and has helped them get harder. So they aren't so brittle from the 15+ yea...qualityresusqueenOriginally posted oninfluenster.com
- 4 out of 5 stars review4/6/2020I use this either alone or under my polish at all times. My normally very thin nails prone to breakage and splitting, are now long and strong. I've tried lots of different strengtheners in different price ranges and so far this works the best for me. Longer stronger nails!

I would make sure I had a fairly thick coat on my nails of Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hard As Wraps maybe 2-4 coats of it on my nails and I made sure my cuticles were nice and trimmed which helped with the growth. The other thing is that if you use this as a base coat, I notice my polish doesn't last as long - works almost as a peel off base coat, which I like but is definitely not what everyone wants.
