Walmart sells refill bags of rubber bands with clips. They have a great price $4.99 for 1200 bands and 48 clips. The bands are very good quality not like many other bands being sold. But make sure they are Wonder Loom brand as Walmart is also selling some inferior bands. You can also get the same quality bands at thebeadery.com. They make the Wonder Loom.

I have purchased refills at joann fabeics and kmart. No, they won't say wonderloom. Any brand sold in store will work.

Rubberbands of every brand can be used for the Wonder loom, as long as they are made for a loom to make Bracelets, Rings and so on. I have used rainbow silicon bands. Came out great.

Any brand of rubber bands will fit. Just make sure they're sturdy. Since you have to pull fairly hard, some bands are too brittle or thin.

Where can I buy refill rubber bands for the Wonder loom?

They are fixed loom, buy rainbow loom if you want the loom to remove and do different design of bracelet. I bought this set to see if my 6 yr old son like it, later he want rainbow loom because he want to do different style of bracelet that require removable loom. Rainbow loom is better for intermediate and advance level. Wonder loom is great for beginner.

The pegs on this loom are fixed. It is one solid piece of plastic.

pegs are fixed, however to make different types of bracelets you use the pegs differently. it's all in how you put the bands on the pegs. get the book that goes with this loom, it really makes learning to make the bracelets easier.

My two sons ages 5 and 6 love doing this. It is too hard for them to do by themselves but I let them pick out the colors and designs and then I make it for them. We have made several for their friends too. It's fun and something creative to do with them - would recommend it. They have videos on YouTube and Michaels.com on how to make different designs which are very helpful too.
