The primer may be topcoated with an oil or water-based paint after it has dried for a minimum of 1 hour. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2

I want to use this on a factory pre-painted exterior steel door. Will it work to hold a new color on, in extreme heat and sun?

Will this product cover cat urine odor? I've cleaned extensively and still have odor, need to know if this will do the trick. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I ordered. This, I was expecting a spray can but what they sent me was 4 gallons of the bullseye 123. This was a nice surprise. I gave 2 cans to my daughter for her projects and I'm using the other for a primer in my rv before I paint.

Used on outdoor wooden fence posts. Only needed one coat of primer on bare wood followed by one coat of colored paint. If using darker colors of paint I would have the primer tinted for better results.

Best bonder: Zinsser Bulls Eye-1-2-3!! I'm very happy with this product. It helped me complete painting bathroom old-ripped laminate countertop project with ease. I painted Behr semi-gloss Natural White after this primer, and coated the countertop with Behr clear gloss polyurethane. Used Wooster 4½ fabric roller each step. One qt of Zinsser primer was more than enough.

Fantastic. Sticks great. Good coverage. Instructions do say you can add a small percentage of your main paint color to get a fuller coverage. Dries quickly but not so much you can't work with it.

the only thing I thought it was a half a gallon not a quart it's okay

It was stated on the quart can that the coverage was 100 to 120 square feet. Using a roller brush i only managed to cover 50 square feet. I had to go buy another quart to finish priming my project.
