No, it is not adjustable. That us one thing I&#39;d change in the design if possible. I&#39;m okay with the distance, just sometimes I&#39;d like to quickly sear something, then lower it for the remainder of the cooking time.

Both the Jumbo Joe and the Original Kettle Grill feature porcelain-enameled lid and bowl and an adjustable damper to control air flow and heat. The Jumbo Jim features a Tuck-N-Carry lid system that enables you to transport the grill easily and doubles as a lid holder. The Jumbo Joe also emphasizes greater portability with redesigned legs so that its stands approximately ten inches shorter than the Original Kettle Grill.

Thanks for your question! The Jumbo Joe Premium is a Walmart exclusive. The Jumbo Joe Premium has a more shallow lid and bowl than the Original Kettle. It also has a single damper on the bottom of the bowl, bolted on legs and black wheels. Hope this helps!

I love grilling and I smoke meat on this grill works great for a family of four

So perfect!

Your standard, basic Weber charcoal grill.   Works great.  Able to hold temps steady, even in the cold (grilled a 20lb turkey in 20 degree weather).  My only change would be more interior height to make beer can chicken and large items like a 20lb turkey fit a bit better.

TIP:  For the turkey, I removed the top cooking grate, laid 4 normal size house bricks in the bottom in a rectangular format, and put the roasting pan directly on the bricks, with the coals to the outside of the bricks.  Bricks serveve two purposes - first and foremost, it kept the coals to the outside edges, and secondly, it supported the roasting pan.  Easy to add coals without the upper grate on, too.

Great old school charcoal grill

My last weber 22 inch grill lasted on my open air deck for 25 years had to replace the racks once's.  weber makes a good Product so I re-ordered a new one

the grill was relatively easy to put together unfortunately the box that it was delivered in was banged up pretty bad didn't think much of it because it looked like it was packaged pretty well until I got most of it together and realized there was a dent in the side which now won't allow the lid to fit correctly.

Great grill, unfortunately it came in damaged and we needed to use it the day it came in so I can’t return it and getting ahold of Walmart is pretty impossible.

The grill is nice overall. Only one thing, make sure to open box to see if you have everything. Mine was missing the bottom charcoal grate…. Will need to contact customer service to see how Walmart can make this right.

BUYER BEWARE:  The product shipped to me is NOT a Weber grill.  And it is only 18", not 22" as advertised.  The top handle is different than pictured and the word Weber is nowhere to be found. The brand is Zokop and let me tell you, it is very poor quality.  I'm returning this because I can pick this piece up in a Family store for next to nothing.  I'm going to check in my local Walmart store to see if they indeed have the Weber 22" for $89.
