Yes it will fit one whole nose on packer brisket but not two. Since brisket requires low and slow indirect heat the biggest brisket that I've been able to fit was a nice 14 pounder. Stack the charcoal on the sides where the grate flips up and cook the brisket in the center.

You might as well get this model for $50.00 more than the 18 inch one. You get the grate that hinges so you can put soaked wood chips on the fire without disturbing what's on the grill. The unit that contains the ashes is a Godsend. If you bought these things separately you'd end up spending more, and it gives you more surface space, a thermometer and you can cook 'beer can chicken' because the dome is a little higher. Can't do that with the 18 " model. Super happy! I have a Weber gas grill which is great but there is nothing like ribs or Alaskan king salmon on cedar planks and apple wood chips thrown in through the hinged grate for the smoky flavor on the charcoal model.

Worth the money!

This BBQ has much to offer. Spacious cooking area, vents well and cleans easy. The only down fall is that the rack can not adjust to go lower or higher. We have cooked fish, hamburgers, pork chops, ribs, vegetables and everything comes out tasting great. The charcoals heat quickly and the complete cooking area heats evenly. The BBQ looks great and does not take up much room. It is strong, durable and stable, it would take a lot to knock this over. I would feel safe with my grandchildren and pets around it.

My Wife got this grill for me for my Birthday, She had known I was looking for some time for a good charcoal grill and had my eye on this one. I enjoy my gas grill but, there are times when you just have to have charcoal. The grill was shipped to the house,(FREE) It was very FAST and EASY to put together and I was amazed at how heavy duty and durable this grill is made. I like the hinged grate and the ash disposal system. I have seen quite a few of these grills around and just thought they were a cheap inexpensive product that would only last a season or maybe two. This thing will last many a season if it is taken care of. I am very happy with this grill and if you are thinking about getting a charcoal grill, get this one. Thanks.

Have had Weber grills before. Chose this one for its "ash can" capability, which works really well. Also love the new green color!

Great grill

GOT THIS FOR A BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND AND HE IS IN LOVE! I HAD FOUND A SMALLER WEBER AT A YARD SALE OVER 15 YEARS AGO FOR $5 AND THAT IS WHEN HE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE WEBER BRAND! SO AS YOU MIGHT GUESS HE IS SO VERY HAPPY TO HAVE A BRAND NEW GRILL AND ITS BIGGER TOO WHICH IS GREAT. HE ALSO LOVES THE COLOR WHICH IS BLUE!

Had a couple of gas grills that eventually rusted. Decided to go back to a Weber. The cool little ash catcher solves the only issue that used to annoy me about my old one.

I like it, a lot.

The grill is everything one might expect from a Weber. It has excellent build quality, works exactly as they described, was packaged nicely, and seems like it will last a lifetime. The ONE downside was that I got the "copper" model. In the photos (on the Weber website and here on the Walmart website) the grill looks like it is copper on the outside or at the very least a shiny metallic copper colored paint. Understanding that this isn't going to be a copper clad grill, the paint doesn't look nearly as copper as it does in the pictures. It looks more like a metal flaked brown than a truly copper look.

If I had known that the color was going to be so different than the pictures show, I probably would have ordered the black or the green model instead of the copper. And please don't misunderstand, it looks good, it just doesn't look like I expected based on the pictures. I can live with the metallic brown color, because the grill works excellently and is built to last.

Great grill, but the color seems off.

I had used propane for about the last 12 years and had forgot how good a charcoal grill makes things taste. Weber's are just the best grills. Great controls, superior quality, and efficient.

the only way to bbq

This was actually a Christmas gift for my son. He loved it, and the fact that I could get it in a specific color made it even better. He has already assembled it and is ready to use.
